Suzy Reingold, a longtime New York commercial real estate executive and lawyer, has joined the board of Avenues for Justice (AFJ), one of the most successful and cost-effective youth crime prevention programs in the U.S.
Reingold was a co-recipient of AFJ’s prestigious Community Service Award in 2014, in recognition of her special contribution to the youth of New York City.
Reingold is a commercial real estate consultant in private practice. She provides business, legal and training services to commercial real estate brokerage firms, and serves as a real estate recruiting advisor. Her consultancy extends to providing expert witness, arbitration and mediation services to parties involved in real estate disputes.
For nearly a decade before launching her consultancy, Reingold was chief operating officer for the New York tri-state region for a leading global commercial real estate company headquartered in Chicago, managing operations for some 350 brokerage professionals.
Before that, she was Senior Managing Director, New York Tri-State Region and U.S. Brokerage, with CB Richard Ellis. Reingold began her real estate career at The Mendik Company, now part of Vornado, where she was Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing. She also served as Executive Vice President, Director of Leasing and Public Relations for The Related Companies, where she oversaw the leasing of many major commercial properties in NYC.
